We also have an interest in high quality modern furniture designed and made in Bali and have supplied both art and furniture to customers all over the world. Indonesian & Balinese Art

The directors of Highway Bali company have a personal interest in Balinese art and Indonesian art in general. We have a special interest in Balinese and Javanese paintings and have developed relationships with several schools of Balinese artists. As collectors rather than traders of Bali art, we buy and sell paintings for pleasure and as an investment.

We feel that Balinese and Indonesian art is attractive, affordable, and a good investment. Indonesian art is relatively cheap and once exported quickly gains appreciable value. Balinese art has a history of increased value over time with pieces from the masters from 1930's to the 1960's being auctioned for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In past years we had many problems with both cargo and warehousing companies here in Bali. Often lack of care and communication problems led to damage and delay. This led us to establish our own warehousing, our own communications and use only major cargo agencies.
